If you are in Burleigh Heads or on the Gold Coast to study english or as a tourist then one activity you shouldn’t miss is the Burleigh Headland National Park walking track which takes walkers around and over the beautiful Burleigh Heads Hill.
The park is 27.6 hectres of pristine forest and there are two amazing walking tracks, a lower track that hugs the coastline and has beautiful views of the ocean and an upper track where you can enjoy the beautiful views of Palm Beach and surfers from amongst the tropical rain forest. At the top of the hill you are rewarded with a spectacular views of all the Gold Coast.

Burleigh Heads hill is a unique and special location that offers locals and visitors the opportunity to escape into another world, a world where you can watch surfboard riders from under the shelter of Pandanus trees or take unbelievable photos of whales jumping out of the sea. Pods of dolphins can often be seen passing by and in the forest you can sit quietly for a moment and enjoy the sounds of birds, or marvel at the view out to the sparkling blue ocean. The entry to the walk is just 5 minutes walk from Central Burleigh and if you are based further from Burleigh there are many buses that can take you straight to Burleigh Town Centre where you can walk easily to Burleigh Hill.
